Emily Frechette led a project to provide personal hygiene packets to the York County Shelter Program.
On May 19, members formed an assembly-line operation to put together packets of personal hygiene items. 70 of these packets, in carry bags donated by KeyBank, were assembled containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brush, comb, soap, lotion, tissues and a pair of socks. the project was funded, in part, by monies raised at the Patriots' Day Beach Bazaar earlier this Spring. Some items were donated by area businesses.
The packets were delivered to the York County Shelter Program in Alfred. There, the staff will distribute the items to people in need.
Kudos Emily!
