Congratulations to Madison Webb, Sara Giddens and Christopher Buckley! These three Wells High School graduates were honored with scholarships from the Ogunquit Rotary Club at the high school’s annual Scholarship Night.
The club annually awards Norman Wilkinson Creative Arts Scholarships to graduating seniors who demonstrate a high level of involvement and career interest in the performing or creative arts, along with academic excellence and a strong record of community service. Wilkinson scholarships were awarded to Sara Giddens and Madison Webb.
The club also awards the Larry Carlson Service Above Self scholarships to graduating seniors who combine extensive records of community service, both in school and in the community at large, with outstanding academic performance. The Carlson scholarship was awarded to Christopher Buckley.
The Ogunquit Rotary Club is a community service organization dedicated to meeting the needs of our neighbors, both in the local community, across the nation and around the world. We are especially pleased to support local initiatives like these scholarship funds.
