Many members deposited happy dollars to thank Susan for her leadership at her last official meeting day as president of the club. The day also featured other notable happenings!
Tracy offered a motion to approve the new bylaws and Erin seconded. The motion passed with no votes in opposition and two abstentions.
After far too much delay (for reasons too numerous to spell out), Russ Osgood and Matt Buttrick received their official new member packets! In Ed Smith’s absence, Heath presented Russ with his Rotary pin. Heath also presented Matt with his pin. Then (drum roll please) Heath presented Rick Barber, our newest member, with his Rotary pin! Welcome, Rick!
One of our guests at this meeting was Scott Vogel, familiarly known as Scotty. He is the co-owner of the Front Porch and Crew Ogunquit. Mr. Vogel very generously donated the food that was served at the senior center for the Day of Warming both this year and last year! In addition, he arranged for our club to receive the proceeds from the February 12, 2022 special fund-raising event at Crew in conjunction with Tito’s Vodka. The club received $2,500!
To honor his contributions, our club named Mr. Vogel a Paul Harris Fellow. Erin presented the award.
I was completely surprised and very honored that the club awarded me a Paul Harris pin with two sapphires. I am extremely grateful.

Finally, a friendly suggestion. The total cost of the 50th Anniversary party exceeded the Clynk funds. To reduce the impact on the club’s budget, the board requests that members send $35 for the cost of their meal to Erin at PO Box 2338 Ogunquit 03907. (Payable to Ogunquit Rotary)
