Beef stew, soda bread, and salad – nice treat for St. Patrick’s Day!
Heath announced he will be a nominee for a Maine state legislative slot. Paul Wilson will join George and Cathy on a cruise. Unfortunately, George will miss our 50th Anniversary celebration on May 19. Brenda and Dick vacationed in Puerto Vallarta; sadly, Dick took a fall, suffering a head injury. Russ’s daughter purchased a home. Joe noted that the Canines for Clean Water was a featured project in a recent District 7780 grants seminar. Emily now can attend meetings as her office is fully staffed again. Pete’s happy with the speed of his repaired computer. Speaking of Pete…
Corned beef and cabbage and the wearin’ of the green,
Everybody here knows just what that means!
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a round of green beer,
And fill up CLYNK bags — got some right here!
The Clynk account has reached $946.30 and rising.
Emily drew her own ticket (219426) but picked out the 7 of clubs and the queen of clubs.
Our club is matching all donations by members to Rotary International’s Disaster Relief Fund which now is targeted to Ukraine.
Matt Buttrick was sworn in as our newest member by his sponsor, Heath. Congratulations Matt!
As you may know, Crew OGT donated $2,500 to our club. Following the board’s recommendation, the club voted to direct $500 of that to the contributions fund.
The Dunaway Center Great Hall has been reserved for the 2 Cents Sale on July 21: set-up on the 20th. Please save those dates.
Note: I will chair an ad-hoc committee to create an information package for prospective members. Please let me know if you would like to contribute to the effort.
